1. I've decided to try and break into comic coloring. I have absolutely no illusions that such a thing will be easy. I may spend the rest of my lifetime before my hand gets arthritis pursuing it. Which is fine with me. I've got a lot of leads on line art now, to practice on, at least. And some great colorists to network with. So all is currently fine on that front, except for the part where I do color work and put it up anywhere.

2. The reason doing any work at all and putting it up anywhere hasn't been happening is due to the fact that 2 weeks ago or so my husband got laid off. We're both now unemployed and have had to move out of our apartment and back into a cramped 9 by 10 foot bedroom back at the old house.

As you can imagine, this entire scenario is not conducive to working on any art, what with the packing, and the moving, and the deciding what stuff is going into storage. We have to give up our two cats, too.

I'm worried that when I get settled I won't even have enough room to DO this kind of work. So I guess we're all just going to have to hold our breath and see what happens.
